Heat Demons
Hi Mike,
It has been a year since I installed the Heat Demons on my Electra glide so I thought I would tell you what I think. Great product! I spent the summer up in Alaska and rode on some cold rainy days and my hands were never cold but what really sold me was when I had to ride the interstate in Texas at 15degrees. It was one of those cross countries where you have no choice but to ride to make your appointment. When I saw the temperature as I went out the door, I wondered how miserable this ride was about to be. It wasn’t. Three hours later I was at my destination with warm hands. Heat Demons are well engineered and work great keep me posted on your next innovation.
As you know I live in Florida, and when riders see the switch on my left handlebar, they want to know what it is. When they find out it is for hand warmers they ask why I need them down here. After I explain about riding in Alaska and Canada, I tell them I use them in Florida more than you would think and tell them they are well worth the money even down here. Their answer is always “I just wear my gloves.” Bull! I guess I am the only rider who leaves wherever I am and decides I don’t need my gloves for this short 20 mile run. Shortly after taking off you realize you should have put on gloves. With Heat Demons you don’t have to pull over and put on gloves you just hit the switch and keep on going. They are also great for those times when you misjudge the rain cloud and decide to just ride through it. At least your hands don’t get cold. Your Heat Demons are well engineered and I am looking forward to your next innovation. Thanks for a great product!
Hi Mike I'm so glad I called you last week to find out that your Heat Demons would work on my Kawasaki VukcanClassic. I brought the bike to my dealer Thursday night, and they installed them on my bike Friday. Well I picked the bike up Friday Night and was very impressed. Both the guys at the dealership and myself were anxiety waiting to see how they would work, for this was the first pair of Heat Demons they had tried. They used other Heated Grips in the past that weren't nearly as nice as yours. Man! We all were amazed how nice they looked and how nice they worked. The guys install was better then I imagined. I have a friend with a new Harley Ultra, and he stated they were much better than his stock ones he had on his bike. I know my dealer will be selling only your Heat Demons from now on, and I know I will showing them to all my buddies. Thank You for a Great Product!

Well to be Honest I really like the grips and the LED controller. Everybody that sees my ATVwith your Grips wants to know where I got them from. Thanks Jamie
I plow a lot of snow and my thumb and hands would get so cold - the Symtec Winter Pak has been the best addition to my machine ever. John J
I recently put on the no adhesive Symtec Heated Gripsand love them - I highly recommend them to everyone. Robt in VT
Thank You... We received the new grips and put them on without a problem this time. Thanks for the boiling tip. They work great. You have a great product. Thank You again for being so helpful. Sincerely, Terry and Pam
Just purchased/installed your Winter Packagegrip/thumb heater. It's outstanding. It's everything as advertised plus. The use of wd-40 in the installation can't be stressed too much; I being a little gun shy, gave it a extra dose and the Grips slid on like butter on a ducks mmmmmm. They heated up within 45 sec of activation. I have only one small suggestion; and that is to make the ground wire longer so a person does not have to splice a additional length on it. Other folks who have bought this fine product clued me in on needing the extra length ground. I would recommend a ground of 2 feet so it can be utilized on any ATV/Sled. Thanks for the great product. By the way, that controller is just super. Steve
to whom it may concern.
I was at Laconia this past Spring and I saw your setup at the Lobster Pound. Your salesman spent allot of time answering my questions and listening to my needs. I was very pleased. I have had very bad luck with the Harley Heated Grips. If they work at all forget about it below 45 degrees. They have since redesigned them. Big surprise!!!! They are CRAP!!!!! I purchased a set of your Heated Grip inserts and my friend installed them in my garage. Nice easy installation. I cant praise these grips enough!!!!!! They are excellent. I live in Syracuse New York and I ride until the ground is covered with snow and sometimes after. I took a ride last Sunday and It was in the thirties and the highest setting I used was 2. WOW they are great. I am trying to get many of my riding buddies to get these grips. Thank you for making a great product. They are a much needed item. My wife cant wear thick gloves when she rides so she needs them. Up until now she has had the Harley ones and they crap out all the time.
Thanks again
Keith
Heavy-I used the Symtec ATV's on my Strom and they work great. I wrapped the clutch side of the bars with insulating tape, then put the heater over that and a standard grip on top. The temp is close enough to equal on the two sides that I can't feel a difference.
SEWERAT--- I put a set of Heat Demons on my bike and a set on Sglicks bike, we love both sets, excellent look, and the heat is awesome, most of the time they are set on low.
YARVIS--- Just had a set of Heat Demons placed on my bike today. Initially they didn't knock my socks off, but 5 or so minutes when they reached proper operating temperature, I COULD'NT keep my hands on the grips! I had to lower them to level 3 and this was the most comfy for me. BTW, we only had a high of 34 today and when I was out it was close to that or just under that temperature wise. Once I got on the highway my hands were still nice and warm and toasty at level 3. Level 2 seems more suited for cool summer nights or so, I could barely feel them today at 2, then again my hand might have been burnt already from level 4. lol.
52EDUB---I installed Heat Demons on my 06 SG and they were the best mod I ever had. Looks like OEM part and no moving parts/wires to break like heated hand grips. I wish that I could use them on my new 09 SG.

HeatDemons.com-The Official Home of The Heat Demon
HeatDemons.com is the official site for Symtec Heat Demons. Symtec-Inc was founded in 1989 based on the need for a Thumbwarmer for the snowmobile as riding in cold weather seriously affected the riders ability to control the throttle when the rider's thumb got cold. The company soon got into the HandleBar business for snowmobiles. In 2002 new decisions were made regarding expanding the technologies and growing the company. New heater and electronic technologies were developed and those products are paving the way into a new exciting future with many more Symtec products on the drawing board.
It sure would be nice to have a pair of Grip Symtec Grip Warmerskeeping your hands toasty while also letting you keep that pair of custom grips on the handlebars, wouldn’t it? Here at SYMTEC-INC we thought so, too. About a year ago we decided to do something about it. The fully adjustable “Heat Demons”–there are four separate heat settings–mount the heating element inside the handlebars. With the Heat Demons you’re not stuck with some generic looking grips just because you want warm hands. Custom grips, stock grips, they all work with the Heat Demons. And the price for this? About half of what a Harley Davidson dealership would charge for their one-look-for-everyone Heated Grips, and the Heat Demons can be installed by almost anyone. Since 1989 STMTEC has been coming up with innovative solutions like this. The Heat Demons are just their latest outdoor warming product for the motorsports industry–SYMTEC has a full lineup of Grip Warmers, Saet Haeters and Heated Vests all aimed at the ATV and snowmobile crowd. Suffice it to say this Fridley, Minnesota, company knows how to keep people warm. And with the Heat Demons they’ve shown they know how to keep style-conscious Harley riders happy, too. Two versions of the Heat Demons are available, one chrome plated, one black. Each neatly fits right on a Harley’s handlebar to replace the factory split-clamp at the leading edge of the throttle/brake and clutch lever housings. All the wiring and the heater elements install inside the handlebar itself so nothing shows on the outside that doesn’t look right. And switching the heaters on and off is easy. The controls are right there at your fingertips. Monitoring which heat level you’re on–there are four, remember–is just as easy. A series of recessed LEDs are built in, each illuminating with a different color for the various heat-level settings. Here at SYMTEC we even included a thermister to maintain a consistent heat level during temperature changes. And all of this works under any style grip you have on the bike, stock or aftermarket. Here’s something else. In a really custom application where a rider might not want anything up on the handlebars to clutter the look he can still have Heat Demons and Heated Grips. The control unit and switch can be remotely mounted. Riders have modified headlight buckets to mount the Heat Demon controls, they’ve mounted them down low alongside and under the seat–the possible location for concealing things is limited only by imagination. And no matter where or how the Heat Demons are installed–the controls up on the handlebars or not–the result is always the same. Toasty warm grips and a happy ride. The cold-weather riding season is coming. The time for some heated grips is now. Symtec's Heat Demons are as neat and clean a solution as you’re likely to find. The Heat Demons look right, they’re designed right, they’re easy to install, they’re adjustable and they’re sure priced right. And maybe most important of all–they work with any style grip.
